North Coast, CA – Senator McGuire issued the following statement regarding today’s ruling by the Surface Transportation Board regarding rail lines on the North Coast:

Sacramento — California made craft beer cool. The industry, still mostly mom-and-pop and independently owned and operated, contributes almost $10 billion to the state’s economy from over 1,200 craft breweries that call the Golden State home. Craft brewers employ 66,000 Californians.

Sacramento, CA – Senate Majority Leader Mike McGuire has been working with the City of Clearlake, Lake County Supervisors Sabatier and Simon and local water districts to secure state funding that will once and for all establish an intertie between a few water districts near the City of Clearlake.
