Sacramento, CA – Senators Mike McGuire and Susan Rubio, co-chairs of the Senate's Wildfire Working Group, along with Senators Nancy Skinner, Henry Stern, Ben Allen, Monique Limon, and Bill Dodd unveiled a comprehensive wildfire preparedness and prevention bill package and a landmark corresponding budget package today — all part the Senate’s Blueprint for a Fire Safe California. 

Sacramento, CA – Senator Mike McGuire and a coalition of bipartisan legislators from across Northern California representing areas devastated by recent wildfires caused by PG&E have sent a formal request to Attorney General Rob Bonta to hold the Fire Victim Trust accountable, expedite payments to fire survivors and avoid excessive administrative costs.
