Sacramento – Today California State Senators Scott Wiener and Mike McGuire officially introduced their legislation which would require that any future presidential or vice-presidential candidate must make their tax returns public to appear on the California ballot.

Sacramento, CA – Senator Mike McGuire has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León to several influential committee assignments to kick off the 2017-2018 legislative year, including taking over as Chairperson of the Governance and Finance Committee, which is responsible for hearing all legislation related to state and local government and special district revenue, taxes, all land use and development policy. The committee is considered one of the busiest in the Senate.
